Qualifications: 

• MD or DO from accredited medical school
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine (Board Eligible ONLY if currently in residency — must pass boards before starting)
• Active Georgia medical license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA registration
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Current BLS certification; additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NIHSS may be required by the facility.
• Degree from an accredited program in Internal Medicine Practice or a related clinical specialty.
• Active, unencumbered Internal Medicine Georgia state license (or ability to obtain, as required).
• Minimum of one year of recent experience practicing in Family Practice or a comparable clinical environment (facility may consider strong new graduates for select roles).
• Experience working within an electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• Board certification or board eligibility by the appropriate certifying body, when applicable to the discipline.
